THE FIFTY-FOUR FARZES (or FARDS) (III)

20– To encourage doing good and to discourage from doing evil.

21– To visit one’s mahram relatives.

22– Not to abuse someone’s trust.

23– To fear Allâhu ta’âlâ all the time and avoid committing harâm acts.

24– To obey Allâhu ’adhîm-ush-shân and His Messenger. That is, to perform the farz acts and to avoid the harâm ones.

25– To avoid sinning and to spend one’s time doing worship.

26– Not to disobey the ulu-l-emr and not to violate the laws.

27– To look at the entire creation around you with deep admiration.

28– To meditate over the existence of Allâhu ta’âlâ, i.e. over His Attributes and creatures.

29– To protect one’s tongue against harâm and indecent talk.

30– To purify one’s heart from mâ-siwâ [love of this world].

31– Not to mock at anybody.

32– Not to look at (something harâm (to look at).

33– To keep your promises whatsoever the cost.
