Barât Night is the fifteenth night of the month of Sha’bân. That is, it is the night between its fourteenth and fifteenth days. In the eternal past, before creating anything, Allâhu ta’âlâ predestined, decreed all things. Of these, He informs His angels about everything that will happen during one year on this night. On this night the Qur’ân al-kerîm descended on to the Lawhilmahfûz. Rasûlullah ‘sall-Allâhu ’alaihi wa sallam’ would worship and pray very much during this night.

Know that Barât Night is an opportunity, a great fortune! For, it is a certain night. It is the fifteenth night of Sha’bân. Qadr Night is very great, but it is not known for certain what night it is. Worship very much on this night. Or else you will repent on the Judgment Day!

Escaping torment in the next world is dependent only upon following Muhammad ‘alaihis-salâm’. He who follows the way guided by him will attain the love of Allahu ta’âlâ. Those who follow in his footsteps will be close to Allahu ta’âlâ. He who adapts himself to him will get the happiness of being a faithful born servant of Allahu ta’âlâ. The greatest ones of the more than a hundred and twenty-four thousand prophets that came to the world desired to follow him. If Hadrat Mûsâ (Moses) had lived in his time, despite his greatness, he would have preferred to follow him. All Muslims know that Hadrat ’Îsâ will descend from heaven and follow his way. Muslims who are of his ummat became the most auspicious and best of all people because they adapted themselves to him. Most of those who will enter Paradise are from among them, and they will enter before all other people.

Today, April 19^th. Since the Sun is in Taurus (Sevr) Constellation, the second month of spring begins. The Sun will be in this Constellation for 31 days and will be in Twins on 20^th May. Today the six day-period Colds of Sitte-i Sawr, publicly called ‘colds of Taurus’ begins.
